Star Trek Into Darkness will be released – May 17, 2013. This upcoming science
fiction-action movie is directed by JJ Abrams, produced by Abrams, Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Damon Orci, Lindelof and
Bryan Burke and scripted by Orci, Lindelof and Kurtzman. It is a sequel of
2009’s Star Trek movie which is based on Gene Roddenberry’s original 1964
science fiction series. Furthermore, most of the crew of the preceding movie
are returning. JJ Abrams is still the film director and producer and his staff.
Last film’s stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Bruce Greenwood, Simon Pegg, Karl
Urban, John Cho and Anton Yelchin return to reprise their roles.
Star Trek enthusiasts already have an idea what the movie is
all about. The plot started when after the squad of the Enterprise is called
back home, they discovered an unstoppable force from within their own
organization has attacked their ship, the Starfleet, and left Earth in turmoil.
Then, they discovered that the one behind this terror is a one man weapon of
mass destruction.
With his personal desire to solve the problem, Captain Kirk takes
the lead for his crew and the U.S.S Enterprise to manhunt an extremely
dangerous world to seize someone who is very powerful. As they pushed to this
epic war of life and death, friendships will be broken, sacrifices must be made
and love will be tested – a tough decision Captain Kirk has to make.
